Arrowhead Credit Union was founded in 1949 by a small group of San Bernardino County employees who wanted to start a credit union to offer small loans for their growing families, and payroll deductions to facilitate basic saving habits. As the credit union picked up and started becoming popular, they started having requests for car loans, home loans, and checking accounts. Currently, Arrowhead keeps evolving with the needs of it’s members, a full service financial institution that keeps operating as a cooperative.
