Veridian Credit Union is a credit union that is organized differently than other financials. VCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by it’s members, and that means all the net earnings are returned to members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings, as well as low-to-no fees. Veridian Credit Union, is also governed by a volunteer board of directors who are elected by it’s members. Each member is entitled to one vote in the election for the board no matter how much money that individual has on deposit.
Veridian Credit Union started in 1934 by John Deere as Employees Credit Union in Waterloo, Iowa by a handful of John Deere employees.
This credit union is committed to it’s members and tries in every interaction to exceed expectations.
